Battery Data Acquisition Device Sensor--AS8510

Date2024-07-20
AS8510 is a nearly zero-offset, low-noise, dual-channel measurement device. It is a custom-designed solution for accurately measuring battery current, ranging from mA to kA, using a 100 µΩ shunt resistor in series with the battery rail. Through its second measurement channel, it can capture battery voltage synchronized with current measurements or measure the analog output of internal or external temperature sensors. Both channels are matched and capable of measuring small signals of ±160 mV relative to ground via a programmable gain amplifier or larger signals in the range of 0 to 1V without amplification. After analog-to-digital conversion and digital filtering, the resulting 16-bit digital word can be accessed via a 4-wire standard serial interface.
